done and done...

Well, the semester ended, say about 3 weeks ago and I have obviously made a strong effort to update my unread blog. I have a job now at the London Tea Room. Maybe my plug in the previous blog helped me with my job gettin' skills there. or not. I don't even think they knew about it until today. So, now my blog is linked to an awesome description of myself that you can find at www.thelondontearoom.com/The_Royal_We.html. Thumbs up to Matt and his way of describing me in pretty much less than twenty-four hours of actually knowing me. I guess I make an accurate impression on people. I think it means I am myself all the time or who I want those that meet me to perceive me as. Loves it.

So, yeah. Got a job, making some money, passed my classes. No class taking over the summer. No thank you and god bless. Saw radiohead last week and that was phenomenal. I had fabulous seats thanks to my dear friend Sean. Felt sorry for comrades on the lawn (Patrick, Travis, and Sarah). I witnessed my car getting peed on twice whilst waiting the hour to get out of the hell that is riverport or umb bank pavilion or verizon wireless amphitheater or whatever the fuck you want to call it. Also, for consideration... I am thinking about joining roller derby. I haven't decided 100 percent, but I think I will check it out. It seems like a massive commitment of time and money and I lack both as it is, but i think I would kick ass at it. I have had several friends encourage me by saying they could see me doing it. Should I be offended that they see me being physical, aggressive and kickin' ass? Nah, I just kind of am that way. Not looking for fights, but competitive and will play hard. Plus, I always think roller girls are way hott. So, more updates on that to come. The newbie start date would be June 23rd. We shall see.

What else? hmmmm. I was accosted by my pally Sean about trashing my ipod and buying a monthly subscription to rhapsody. Sounds nice and yet not at all practical for me at this moment. I am sentimental about my ipod. Kind of like I was with my cd's prior to the excellence that is digital music. My ipod still works great, so I think he can pretty much kiss it.

ummmm.... Yeah and twitter. If you look in the upper right hand corner of your screen you can see my updates on twitter. I have pretty much become a twitter whore. I text my updates, which is extremely convenient when I can't get to a computer and something hilarious happens like drunk dudes pissing on my car. Good times.

I think this is all for nows. 'Tis late and must be off to bed. Have a shift at the tea room tomorrow morn' and now that they know about my blog, I don't want them to know why I am late! I will be on time tomorrow, I promise. No beatings please! It puts the lotion in the basket.
